Dr. Kristine Knoll is a board-certified endodontist and Texas native from the Dallas area. She attended Nova Southeastern University in Florida on a soccer scholarship, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology.  After graduation in 2008, she returned to Dallas and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M/Baylor College of Dentistry in 2012. She practiced general dentistry for two years before pursuing advanced training in endodontics at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, where she graduated in 2017 with a Master of Science and Certificate in Endodontics.

Dr. Knoll’s interest in endodontics and dental traumatology dates back to 2012. As a former collegiate athlete, she developed a passion for treating sports-related dental trauma, which led her to become a certified team dentist. She has volunteered as a ringside dentist for a local Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) club and participated in the 2014 United States Olympic Dental Volunteer program, providing dental care to elite Olympic athletes. Her thesis focused on the dimensional changes of bioceramic materials, which are commonly used in the treatment of traumatic dental injuries and surgical therapies. In 2018, she co-authored a chapter titled “Role of Endodontics in Dental Trauma” in the sports dental textbook Modern Sports Dentistry.

When she’s not practicing dentistry, Dr. Knoll enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son, especially on glamping trips. She shares her home with two beloved dogs—Attila, a Great Dane, and Stella, a French Bulldog. Dr. Knoll also enjoys painting with acrylics, and her artwork has been featured in several local Deep Ellum galleries and restaurants in the Lakewood and Cedars area.
